私は昭和生まれだ。それが理由か、古いものに愛着を感じるタイプだからか、昭和を感じさせるものに出会うと、心惹かれる。日本は先進国だけれど、一歩裏路地に入れば、時が止まった「超アジア」な場面い紛れ込む空間のひずみが存在する。少なくとも、私の記憶の中では。

昭和ならではの裸電球。でもこれは省エネ版だから、昭和じゃないか。

I was born in the Showa era. Whether because of the time I was born or my emotional attachment to old things, I always feel drawn to the things or the situations that remind me of the era. Generally speaking, Japan is one of the developed countries with the most advanced technology and infrastructure. But, walking down the street you can slip into “an asian nostalgic pocket,” which exists in spatial distortion. I mean at least in my memory.

A bare light bulb is one of the typical items in the Showa era. However… this one is an energy-saving bulb. So, strictly speaking, this item is ‘neo showa nostalgia’…
